How to Complete the Course Prerequisites

1. Log in to Canvas and navigate to the Start Here page on the course Home page.
   
   
   
2. Review all required introductory information, including:
   • Instructor contact details
   • Course resources and policy
     
   • Exam Prep
     
   • Course forum
   • Syllabus
3. Take the Syllabus Quiz
   • Open the syllabus in a separate tab or window while taking the test to use as a reference.
   • A perfect score of 100% is required to unlock Module 1.
   • If you do not achieve a perfect score on the first attempt, you may retake the test.

Troubleshooting Locked Assignments

If an assessment appears to be locked, try the following steps:

• Refresh your browser
• Log out and back in to your Canvas course
  
• Click the "Home" page
  
• Verify all preliminary tasks have been completed, including:
  • Reading introductory information
  • Viewing course content
  • Completing the syllabus quiz or other associated assignments

Module 1 Prerequisites

When accessing Module 1 from your course's home page, you will see a list of prerequisite items.

• If any requirement has not been met, you will see a page with direct links to the necessary resources.
• Click each provided link and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the prerequisites.
