Finding Your Instructor’s Contact Information:

  1. Log into Canvas.
  2. Navigate to your course's "Home" page.
  3. Click on the “Meet Your Instructor" tab.
    • This tab will provide your instructor's contact and more office hour details.
    • Instructors typically reply to student messages within 48 hours, please keep in mind this may be slightly longer over weekends and holidays.

How to Send a Message to Your Instructor:

  1. In Canvas, click on the Inbox tab located on the left-hand side of the screen.
  2. Click the compose icon (pencil and paper) at the top.
  3. Select your course from the drop-down menu.
  4. Type your instructor's name in the "To" field.
  5. Write your message and click Send.
