Student Navigation - Help Finding Instructors Contact Information

Canvas:

  • Student In Canvas will find all Instructor Information in on their course home page in the gray button titled "Meet Your Instructor"

  • Instructor Announcements: Near the start of the course, instructors will post announcements detailing their Office Hours availability.

  • Course Questions: All students in Canvas should utilize the Canvas Inbox for course content questions or requesting appointments.

    • Please provide a minimum of 24-hour notice to instructors to schedule and request your appointment.

    • Video-based meetings like Google Meets are encouraged for screen-sharing capabilities but are not required.

  • Office Hours: You may message your instructor with questions, view office hour availability, or schedule another time to meet with them via video conference.

TEL Platform (Students e​nrolled before Summer 2024):

  • Finding Contact Information: All instructor contact information, including email and office hours, can be found in the "Instructor Information" tab located on your Course Home Page.

  • Instructors typically reply to emails within 24 hours.
