What are "Check Your Knowledge" (CYK) Assessments?

Why Are CYK Assessments Important?

To continue progressing in your course, you must submit all CYK (Check Your Knowledge) quizzes in each lesson to unlock the next corresponding requirement. These quizzes ensure you fully understand the material before moving forward.

  • Reinforcement of Learning: CYKs help you practice and strengthen your understanding of each module.
  • Self-Evaluation: They show you what you’ve learned and where you may need to review.
  • Course Progression: You cannot unlock the next module until you pass the CYK with full credit.

How to Complete CYK Assessments

  1. Review the Module
    • Read all course materials carefully.
    • Watch all videos in full—do not skip forward.
    • Click through every page in the module (modules remain locked if you skip content).

  2. Access the CYK Assessment
    • At the end of each module, open the “Check Your Knowledge” section.

  3. Take the Assessment
    • Read each question carefully.
    • Use your course materials (open book/open course) by opening the course in another tab if needed.

  4. Review and Retry if Needed
    • You may retake the CYK as many times as necessary until you score 100%.
    • If you miss questions, go back to the module content and review again before retrying.

Next Steps

Once you successfully complete the CYK with full credit, the next module will automatically unlock. Continue this process for each module until you reach the end of your course.
