Why isn’t the exam or quiz page loading?
Taking these precautions before your next attempt may ensure your device has the best possible connection, improve loading times, and meets your course technology requirements for quizzes and exams in Canvas:
- Check your computer or laptop for any available system updates.
- Mobile devices such as iPads, tablets, and smartphones are not supported.
- Clear cache & cookies. Clearing this in your browser settings fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues.
- Check for Interfering Applications: For the best results, close all unnecessary browser tabs and ensure that no background applications are running. Open icons seen on your computer's application dock may interfere.
- Temporarily Disable (Conflicting) Extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with Canvas quizzes and Honorlock’s ability to activate your exam's start page. Conflicting extensions may prevent Honorlock from activating.
- Please refresh your page if you're experiencing longer loading times.
Keep in mind that all exams are timed—please reconnect/resume as soon as possible if your connection is lost or the exam page accidentally closes. The exam time will continue to count down.
