Why did I receive a notification that says I am behind when my current grade is an A?
Your current grade is only an average of the assignments that you have completed and is a great tool to help you assess how well you understand the content so far.
We use your final grade percentage along with the Course Schedule to determine if you are behind in a course. The final grade is the average score of the assignments you have and have not completed. It indicates the grade that you will receive on your official transcript once the course has ended. Ideally, your final grade should always be progressing as you complete assignments.
If you have received a notification informing you that you are behind in your course(s), we recommend that you schedule a time to meet with your Student Success Coach to discuss this further and develop a plan that will help you get caught up. You can contact your student coach by emailing
