What will I need to have before taking a proctored exam?

The test will be overseen by an authorized proctor who will ensure the identity of the test-taker and the integrity of the test-taking environment throughout the duration of the test. Make sure to begin your online proctoring session before starting your exam.

To take the online proctored exam, you must have the following:

  • A laptop or desktop computer with the Chrome Web Browser, a working video camera, and a microphone

  • A mobile phone with a working camera

  • The Google Meet application downloaded to your computer or mobile phone

  • A valid ID that includes your name and photograph; this can be your school ID, driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport

  • A reliable Internet connection of 1MB or higher

  • A valid government-issued or school-issued ID that has your full name and photo.  If you do not have a valid ID, contact your affiliated institution.
