What can I expect in a Module Quiz?

About the Quiz:

The Module Quiz consists of multiple-choice questions based on the lessons included in the corresponding module.

This is an open-book, open-note quiz; however, please do not exit your quiz page to review your course materials. Instead, open a second browser window or tab to view your lesson materials alongside the module quiz.

The quiz is not timed and must be completed within one session. Students will have two attempts on their Module Quizzes (Not Mastery Assignments). The higher of the two scores will be counted toward your final grade.

Students who Enrolled with their School - Important Due Date Notice:

For term-based students who enrolled through their school, please note that Canvas will automatically deduct 5% per day for all activities submitted after their due date. If students use any of their remaining attempts that may still be unused, the system will automatically count all attempts as “late” past the due date. Students can check the individual assignment or the "Grades" section in their course to see specific due dates for each course activity.

Before You Begin:

  • Find a quiet space where you will not be interrupted for the duration of the quiz.
  • Make sure you have a reliable internet connection.
  • If you are using a laptop, ensure your battery is charged or your power cable is connected.
  • Please do not leave your quiz unattended or incomplete for more than 24 hours, as this may cause Canvas to "time out" and automatically submit your attempt.
  • If you choose to retake the quiz, you may do so immediately after the first attempt or return at a later time.
