Does the Bible count as a scholarly resource?

The Bible itself does not count as one of your required resources in assignments for a Bible course. If an assignment requires three resources, you may cite the Bible in your bibliography, but it must be accompanied by three other outside resources that share some sort of personal or scholarly opinion about the Bible.
