Do students who want to enroll in TEL courses need to have an ACT score on file or any other prerequisites?
No, TEL does not require students to have an ACT score to take our courses, nor are there other prerequisites for TEL courses. However, please note that our courses do require basic levels of reading, writing, communications, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in order to be successful. TEL leaves this judgment up to students and/or student advocates (parents, teachers, school representatives, etc.) to determine readiness for college-level courses.
