Add/Drop, Switch, Withdrawal, and Retake Policies and more!

Students should review the policies below before purchasing or right after enrollment. Required policy forms are also linked in the course under Course Policies in your Canvas Account.

Drop course	Within 7 days from the purchase date	Drop/Refund Request Form	Eligible for a full refund when the course is under 25% complete. Does not count toward the current enrollment term.
Switch course	Within 7 days from the purchase date	Switching a Course Request Form	Available when the request is made within the allowed timeframe, the course is under 25% complete, and both courses are the same price.
Withdraw from the course	8–30 days from purchase date	Withdrawal Request Form	Results in a “W” on the official transcript. Counts toward the current enrollment term. Not granted if more than 75% of the course has been completed.
Switch credit-granting university	Within 7 days from the purchase date	Switching Credit-Granting University Request Form	Available when the request is made within the allowed timeframe and the course is under 25% complete.
Retake or repeat a TEL course	Before repurchasing the course	Course Retake Form	Approval is required before purchasing if the student previously took the TEL course. A student is not allowed to retake a course(s) in the same term per the University’s policy.
Enrollment Verification Letter Request	After registration	Enrollment Verification Request Form	TEL Education is not an Institution and does not complete or provide 1098-T forms; however, we can provide students with an enrollment verification letter. This letter provides verification of enrollment powered by TEL Education, confirming the enrolled course, the credit-granting university, and the amount paid for each course.
Final Grade Request Form	After completing the course early	Final Grade Request Form	Students may complete this form if they have successfully completed their course ahead of schedule and require their official transcript sooner than the standard timeframe. You may select up to 4 courses per request.
