Can I use sources outside of Google Scholar?

A list of reliable search engines will be provided to you in each of your mastery assignment instruction documents. These often include Google Scholar, RefSeek, Educational Resources Information Center, Bielefeld Academic Search Engine, and Directory of Open Access Journals. Each of these sites will direct you to scholarly, peer-reviewed journals and articles which you can incorporate into your assignments. You are not limited to these sites, however, make sure that your chosen sources are scholarly and reputable.
